We had a blast at this month’s First Wednesday event at Rio Rita on East 6th street! Local vendors set up shop to display their amazing work, and a portion of the proceeds from the bar went to supporting Casa Marianella.
Talented Vendors
There were so many cool, eclectic pieces of art showcased at Rio Rita. Everything from hand crafted jewelry, masks, paintings, vintage clothing, wonderful smelling soaps, and much more. It was great being able to connect with different Casa staff members, Casa supporters, ESL teachers, and local vendors at such a relaxing event! We also loved hearing about where each vendor got their inspiration for their unique products, and all of the vendors were so highly creative and talented.
We want to extend a thank you to Poco A Poco, Rio Rita, and all of the vendors and people who made this month’s Midweek Market such a success! Thank you for supporting Casa and helping us with our mission to provide shelter to refugees and asylum seekers from across the globe.

Hello,
How can I become a vendor for Casa’s next event?
Hi Leticia,
Thank you for your interest in supporting Casa Marianella. The midweek market event was in fact organized and hosted by Poco A Poco, a local Austin business. Rebecca, who runs Poco A Poco is hosting monthly markets to benefit various local non-profit organizations. if you would like to try and vend at one of their events, her contact is rebbecaanneruiz@gmail.com. Casa typically does not use vendors for our events, but if you are ever interested in getting involved you are welcome to email info@casamarianella.org, and follow us on facebook to stay up to date on any events we may have planned. Thank you!
